What different materials are used for spring knitwearUpdated a month ago

As the warmer months approach we move away from wooly jumpers and seek out light weight alternatives. This is why we offer a wide range of cotton cased garments, with new season products typically releasing at the beginning of March.

Here are some of the materials you may see on our website.

100% Cotton

Cotton has been at the core of our summer collection since the creation of our iconic cable sweater. Celebrated for it durability, breathability and stitch definition, it feels comfortably soft against the skin. Cotton garments can be found if 16 gauge to 7 gauge with 16 gauge being our thinner cooler jumpers and 7 gauge offering that extra bit of thickness on the chillier days.

Some of the highlights in the ultra-lightweight summer yarn include V-necks, baby cable and bar garments and cable knit cricket jumpers. With bright seasonal colours giving you that summer feeling.

Cotton Merino

This beautifully soft, breathable yarn combines ethically sourced merino wool and cotton, uniting cotton's breathability with merino's moisture-wicking and temperature regulating properties.

Ideal for warm-weather or year-round layering, it's spun using a compact spinning system for a superior, smooth texture. This is a new range that will continue to grow over the coming years.

Cotton Cashmere

Nothing says summer like our luxurious blend of Pima cotton and pure Mongolian cashmere. Renowned for softness, breathability and elegant drape, this premium yarn combines the finest natural fibres for a lightweight, comfortable feel ideal for warmer days.

Cotton, Linen & silk

Experience breathable luxury with our new lightweight cotton-linen-silk knitwear. Designed for effortless warm-weather dressing, this super luxe blend unites the airy comfort of cotton, the cooling moisture -wicking properties of linen and the sumptuous softness, drape and lustre of silk.
