Saddle shoulder vs Semi-Saddle shoulder vs RaglanUpdated a month ago
Across our range extensive range you may see mention to one of these in the product description. is a description of what they mean.
Saddle Shoulder
This is a narrow strip often referred to as a saddle which runs along the top of the shoulder from the neckline down. The sleeve is then attached separately to this band providing a more defined and tailored structure.
Semi Saddle Shoulder
This is a variation of the saddle shoulder. For this the saddle panel is shorter, extending only partially across the shoulder cap rather than fully to the neckline.
Raglan
For the raglan the sleeve is a single piece extending from the neckline to the underarm. It forms a diagonal seam line. It is often seen as being more comfortable allowing a greater range of movement.
