Regular fit vs Shooting fitUpdated a month ago

The below information relates to our tweed garments and any field coats shooting coats or shooting waistcoats.


One of the most important aspects of a coat for when you are shooting, farming or just dressing to impress in the country is the ability to wear multiple layers whilst still being able to move freely. Both our regular fit and shooting fit allows this.


Regular Fit

For our Men's range, regular fit provides an extra 4" to 7" (10cm-18cm) from the actual chest size to allow layering.

For our Ladies range, regular fit provides an extra 3" to 4" (8cm to 10cm) from the actual chest size to allow layering.


Shooting Fit

For our Men's range, shooting fit provides an extra 6" to 8" (15cm to 20cm) from the actual chest size to allow layering but also to ensures you have even more room for ease of movement.

For our Ladies range, shooting fit provides an extra 7" to 8" (17cm to 20cm) from the actual chest size for layering and ease of movement.
